Nursing Live Scan Fingerprinting

​In Nevada, nurses are required to undergo fingerprint-based criminal background checks in the following instances:​

  1. Initial Licensure: All applicants seeking their first nursing license in Nevada must submit fingerprints as part of the application process. ​Nevada Nursing Board

  2. License Renewal: The Nevada State Board of Nursing mandates that renewal applicants undergo criminal background checks every five years or as directed by the Board.

How to Get Your Nursing Fingerprinting

If you need fingerprinting for the Nevada Board of Nursing, give us a call or email to set a time to come in to our Boulder City office, or arrange for a mobile appointment.  

You'll just need a valid photo ID, and we'll provide you with a 

receipt and transaction number that you must provide to the Nursing Board.
